What are the requirements for using Instrumental Components?

There is not a free version available at this time.

If you decide in the first 14-days after purchase that it's not for you, you can request to cancel your license and receive a full refund.

Can I share Instrumental Components with my team?

Yes, if you purchase a team license. We offer both a solo developer license and a team license, which enables you to invite your teammates to use your account's license. For details, visit our pricing page.

What level of customer support is available?

Brian (the creator of Instrumental Components) offers direct support for license holders via email. You can expect a response within 1-2 business days.

License holders are also invited to join our community, where you can connect with other builders (and Brian) to discuss your projects, ask questions, get feedback.

What is the refund policy?

If you decide in the first 14-days after purchase that it's not for you, you can request to cancel your license and receive a full refund.

Does the license renew automatically?

Yes, your license and subscription automatically renews on an annual basis. If you need to cancel auto-renewal, you can do so by logging into your account.

Is an active license required in order for my project to continue to work on production?

Nope. The components that are installed via Instrumental Components during development can remain live in your project indefinitely, even if your license has expired.

In fact, you don't even need to install the Instrumental Components gem in production (we recommend putting it in your development gems group, during development).

Do you offer consulting or coaching services?
